Haircare is the new skincare

We dive into extensive skincare routines because we worry about the appearance & health of our skin- taking care of it and nourishing it… but what about our scalp?

𝘿𝙞𝙙 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬 that the most absorbent part of your skin are the hair follicles and pores which are all over your body? Now think of the hair follicles and pores in your scalp! It’s like an open channel that allows nutrients to travel to the rest of your body, thus healing holistically.

𝗡𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 can be carried all over body through 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘆𝘂𝗿𝘃𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰 𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 and more importantly our hair can reap its benefits resulting in hair growth, manageability and strength.

𝗛𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗯𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝘀 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲- some simple steps to tackle each issue: 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗵𝘆𝗱𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗼𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴.

If done religiously these simple steps can 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗿! Furthermore because the nutrients will be travelling through your scalp you could be healing internally without even realising it.

I’m going to be focusing more on hair health and hair care over the next couple of weeks because it’s a very important topic, even more so for hijabis who often neglect their hair.
